Preamble

The Association of Friends of Château Poséidon attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected

We collect only the data that is strictly necessary:

  • When making a donation: surname, first name, email address, amount (data is processed by HelloAsso.)
  • When posting a message on the Builders’ wall: name or username, message
  • Browsing data: via cookies (see our cookie policy)

Purposes of processing

Your data is used to:

  • Process your donations and issue tax receipts
  • Keep you updated on the progress of the restoration
  • Display your name on the Wall of Builders (with your consent)
  • Improve your browsing experience on our website

Shelf life

Your data will be retained for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and for a maximum of 3 years after your last contact, unless otherwise required by law (10 years for accounting data).

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your data
  • Right to rectification in the event of an error
  • Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to data portability
